Custom Pet Illustrations - How to Order

Hey there!

If you have seen my page, you would know that I make custom illustrations of pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, you name it!

If you're wondering how the process goes, I will be detailing that for you here:

1. Idea/Concept

Of course you have to start with an idea! Simple enough if an illustration of your pet sitting down is what you're after. But if you want anything fancier, you'll have to tell me what you want. It's okay if the idea is still vague. Shoot me an email with references and we can discuss and develop it better.

Also it would be helpful if you let me know what you're using this illustration for - display in a frame/stickers/t-shirts/etc. I can adjust the size so that it'll be suitable for printing in your desired medium.

Concept Idea

2. Payment via Paypal

Once the idea/concept is established, I will send you a quote for the drawing you've requested. Please make the payment through Paypal or bank transfer (if you're a local customer).

3. Sketch

I will provide you with a sketch. It will be rough so please don't fret on the details just yet! Instead, please make sure the layout, composition and poses of the characters (pet/human) are to your liking.

There can be no major changes after the sketch is finalized, so please make sure you're happy with the general direction before we proceed.

4. Colour

Last but not least, this is where you check for details, such as markings and colors of pets, to see if they're accurate. I can also add hand lettering of their names free of charge!

5. Delivery

I will then send you the final art by email in your desired format (JPG, PNG or PDF). The whole process will take about 1-2 weeks depending on the queue length.

Simple, right?

Terms and Conditions:

1. All artworks will be delivered in A4 size, 300dpi, digital JPG unless a different size or format is specified before the initial sketch is made.

2. Max 3 revisions per review stage (sketch and color)

3. I will not copy a different artist's style.

4. I reserve the rights to decline any requests.

5. I retain all copyright to the artworks unless a prior agreement was made.

6. Related to point no. 5, artworks must NOT be used for commercial purposes.

7. I retain the right to post the artwork on our websites and social media. Please let me know in advance if you do not want the artwork posted or if you only want to reveal the artwork after a certain date.

Thank you for reading to the end! Hope to draw for you soon!
